The Aircraft Fuel Supply business is the fifth largest independent bulk liquid storage provider in northern Europe, and the largest in the UK and in Scandinavia, with more than 5.8 million cubic metres of storage capacity (approximately 37 million barrels) located across 23 terminals.
Our storage facilities in the UK, Ireland, the Netherlands, Germany, Sweden, and Denmark, occupy prime positions with access to highly developed transport links and transhipment services, as well as pipeline connections to local industry at some locations. We offer convenient and cost-effective services for the storage and handling of all kinds of products, from oils and chemicals to biofuels and technical wastes via ship, barge, road and rail without compromising on our quality of service.
United Kingdom and Ireland
In the United Kingdom and Ireland, our terminals cater for a wide range of hazardous and non-hazardous liquids. Terminals are strategically located on England’s east and west coasts, in Grangemouth and Clydebank in Scotland, in Belfast in Northern Ireland and on the Shannon Estuary in Ireland.
Located in Europe’s largest gasoline blending hub, our Amsterdam Terminal in the Netherlands offers 6 jetties for barges and vessels and boasts world-class blending and handling capabilities.
Aircraft Fuel Supply’ storage facilities in the major inland port of Mannheim, Germany, occupy a strategic location on the River Rhine. The terminals provide storage and handling solutions for the region’s petrochemical and petroleum activities and also provide efficient access to the major deep water coastal ports of Rotterdam, Amsterdam, and Antwerp.
Our terminals in Sweden are located along the Baltic Sea and Danish Straits, a major trade route. The facilities function as a strategic storage and blending hub for the transhipment of petroleum products as well as for inland distribution of retail petroleum and petrochemical products.
In Denmark, Aircraft Fuel Supply operates four deep draft coastal storage terminals, which provide build-bulk, break-bulk and custom blending services for distillates and heated oil products. The facilities provide deep water loading and unloading access to large shipping vessels including VLCC tankers
Together, this is one of the most comprehensive storage terminal networks available in Europe.
